Nicky is Head of FinTech and Co-founder of ICON.

Nicky is an expert on the FinTech and InsurTech sector. Based in London, she advises FinTechs, InsurTechs and enterprise software companies on international M&A and capital raising transactions.

She has deep industry expertise and also co-founded The FinTech50 Europe & The FinTech50 APAC to recognise the gamechangers who are transforming financial services. Published annually, the list helps FinTech companies to raise profile globally, connect with influencers, investors and funders and acquirers. With estimates of $4.7Tn revenue at risk of displacement by FinTechs, global investment has poured into the sector and fuelled M&A activity.

Nicky's latest deals include the ScaleUp funding for Life InsurTech Anorak; Series B Co-investment round of strategics and financial VCs for Capital Markets; AI player Mosaic Smart Data, whose investors include JP Morgan, CommerzVentures & Octopus; ScaleUp funding for climate risk leader Fathom from Moody's and the sale of WealthTech company Wealthify to Aviva.

Nicky is on the Board and Strategy Committee of Finastra’s World Trade Symposium, and the Board of The Centre for Green Financing. She is a judge for Sibos 2021 and 2022 and a Speaker at Money2020.

Nicky's Global FinTech Network includes over 1500 investors VCs, PEs, CVCs, Corporates and family offices, across 37 countries; within all sectors of FinTech & InsurTech including AI and Analytics.

Nicky introduced gamechanging payments company Mobeewave to Apple Inc. Mobeewave now happy sitting in the Apple family. Kicking that door down was quite a feat as the meeting was secured the day before their annual conference in San Jose. Great happy ending.
