Simon is an expert in M&A; selling and raising funds for high growth tech companies.

With a focus on digital media, mobile & comms, enterprise software and industrial-tech, Simon advises on transactions from raising venture capital to securing strategic investments.

Since joining ICON, Simon has completed transactions including: the sale of logistics software company Paragon to VISTA and TA backed Aptean; the sale of cloud communications company Applicable to NTT; the sale of low-code no-code SaaS company Muhimbi to Insight Partners backed PSPDFKit; and, the sale of human capital management software JoinedUp to Beeline.

Prior to joining ICON, Simon worked for Lloyds Bank, Rowan Darington, the AIM-listed stockbroker and corporate finance house, and Rolls-Royce Plc.

He has an Accounting and Financial Management degree from Loughborough University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW).

Outside of work, Simon enjoys rugby, cycling, and spending time with his family.
